Events are not just about participation, it’s about involving families, local communities, organisations and businesses in the event to the benefit of all concerned.

We’re super proud to have put together an ‘A Team’ to deliver our event series.

From being a professional footballer in the late 60s, up to delivering national recognised Road race/Events in 2017, Keith, has always been interested in sporting events, particularly Athletics.  Being a Level 4 Performance coach with UK Athletics and having success with athletes at national level to coaching athletes at ground roots level or just for fun, he has always enjoyed seeing other people having fun not just as a participant but also as a spectator.

In the past 40 years he has been involved either through being a Race Director, Site Manager, Event Manager, Race Adjudicator, Staff Member or volunteering at 100k, 50k, Marathons, ½ Marathons, 10k, 5k, Triathlons, Duathlons and Cross Countries and has the knowledge and experience of delivering successful events.

He is proud to say he took the City of Lincoln 10k from 200 runners to 6,500 runners in 2013. He introduced Primary and Secondary School Races as part of the event, which engaged with an additional 400 young people leaving the whole “Lincoln 10k weekend” Real-ly amazing.

Standing on the start line and at the finish, when talking to participants prior to and after the event has been very humbling when you realise people are trying to raise money for their chosen charity.

 

Kelly is our front-line expert.  With decades of experience delivering services to clients ensuring top notch customer service and super safe stewarding. Kelly is Real-ly passionate about delivering the best possible service to her customers. Her involvement with TSS Event Security means we have quality staff to help a safe delivery of the Event.

Born and bred in Lincolnshire but her work in managing Security and Stewarding at Events takes her the length and breadth of the country. Her involvement with London 2012 meant she was running 100 staff dealing with The Last Mile concept to Westminster, right next to the Houses of Parliament

 

Louise is our special events expert. Former venue Manager at London 2012 and with experience of managing some of the world’s biggest sporting events, Louise is all about adding that extra bit of polish to The Real Events Series. More likely to be found running a bath for her small people than running a mile, Real-ly Louise nonetheless shows her commitment to keeping it Real with her collection of running shoes.

 

Peter is the boss and easily identified by the Hi-Viz! Peter developed The Real Events Company concept with Kelly to give local people opportunities to get involved in participating in Sporting events. Besides that, he helps run the Security & Stewarding Business, helps organise the British Cycling Spring Cup Races in Louth and Lincoln and in his spare time, runs an Accountancy Practice. Yes Real-ly.
